There's nothing that says that sinless is boring. We see it as boring here, but it doesn't follow that it has to be.

back on topic. is religious poetry valid as poetry or is it just another form of evangelism. does tennyson use it in an evangelistic way? of course i think anything can be good or bad poetry. does there come a time when it teeters on preaching?

I think it's totally valid. It just needs to be good and non-preachy.
