Pigmas 2024 26 December (8 January)
#1
The mechanics are the same as last year. At the most basic level (myrrh, "as to a mortal"), it's like LPIA or NaPM, where you just write a poem based on the prompt, but there are no form requirements.

A little more advanced (gold, "as to a king"), and you have to follow a single form of your choosing for all fourteen prompts.

The most advanced (incense, "as to a god"), and you have to write a sonnet for each prompt, the end goal being to produce a crown of sonnets.

And now....

On the second day of Pigmas, we honour the Virgin....
but what rhymes with Virgin? Surgeon? Converge-in?
Just write me a poem about extra labour
and excuse how these next rhymes will be....extra....laboured....
