I'd thwack that 'the' in the last line.
(Though bouncing the 'for' instead would lend a certain madness that would be hard to discount.)

It's all good, in my opinion. Some elaboration on the white faces would be nice. But, is that not what poetry is about? Beauty, sadness, madness in one's own life, subject to interpretation. Fuck 'em all, it's great!
