I shall take my poems and go
to tea trees shaking in the rain
falling since yesterday, also
last year in pauses.
And the year before that
and the year before that
and so on till the dawn of man.
And before,
still before,
and before, until
the grass disappears,
the sea travels deep inland.

I've been enjoying this on repeat. It makes me think earth might get another crack at it. Thanks for posting it.
