bugger tried to tell us
cockroaches were clean as cats
his body language said,
"the landlord doesn't wanna pay
for me to just go ahead and spray"
so he leaves us with a few sticky traps
and some sticky bits of advice
assuring the landlord
he'd bought her some time
assuring the landlord
would ultimately find
a cockroach in a cupcake
come Christmas time
