Only a Memory Now
fim 4/28/14
She was an Irish setter,
her hair lustrous as it was long.
It drew then mesmerized your attention
much like a favorite song.
She possessed the brilliance of a thousand suns
and Ginger Roger’s grace,
both innocence and impishness
adorned her angelic face
Her eyes always exuded eagerness
to engage, penetrate and delight
she was always fun to be with
in the day, but especially the night.
The canine association seems to work
she was faithful and with devotion replete
and with only my slightest hint of desire
she would fuck me like a bitch in heat.

He’s rather big, he has brown hair
and brown eyes too, and hairy arms
and other grizzly bear-like charms
He often grunts when he’s displeased
but he shuts up when he’s appeased.
He’s fond of honey in his drinks
and into hibernation sinks
in winter time; he stays in bed
and gets up only to be fed.
In autumn time he strips the trees
of fruit that hides amid the leaves.
He’s Fond of jam with berries in.
His hairy face it hides his grin.
He doesn’t dance, he isn’t trained,
he’s rather wild, he’s quite untamed.
I tell him he’s a grizzly bear-
Its a private joke we share.
