I'm very happy and content but I don't really believe any of this matters. But, then, I don't care. I'm enjoying it. I enjoy many pointless things - I am a very indulgent, pleasure-centered person. I don't care about a lot of things (I would like to see myself as somewhat carefree) and the things I do care about tend to be matters of people and the planet.
I think the only thing people should really focus on as being worthy of care is their own happiness and life, and ensuring the continuation of the happiness and lives of others. But nothing really matters.
If it wasn't for that mantra I think I'd have gone a bit crazy by now.
I would say I have nihilistic views but I still place a value on life based on the emotions I feel for people.
