You’ll love me, though I’m round
with face that’s painted thick.
Don’t think that I’m a bitch to say
that you must eat me first
before I’ll let you swell.
Now sing a song so sweet
of years gone past,
and share me round with wives
and kids, and those next door.
I’m sure that they will love
my taste, and join you in your song.

Oh well. I'm not a riddle man.

I was going to guess watermelon but I didn't understand the crystals or the soft and hard parts.

Well, I tried yours milo but it is too tough, I came up with thiings like a feather or mattress ha ha ha Tongue

The clue to my second is...

'In the surge they sway' can be read as 'In the waves they sway'
Where are waves found? what is something which holds delicate things there? Some can be used as.... and some can be ... well I am getting hungry now ;-)

I thought clams first but there are some inconsistencies.

Mine is really easy if you just take it line by line.

Pretty boxes with no lids,
delicate treasures inside.
The treasures ever multiply
can you get it right?
No one place they stay,
in the surge they sway.
Some lie in our closets,
secured in a pouch.
Some head to the tunnel,
which starts with the pout.

pearls?

First I’m avocado hard avocado= green, unripe avocados are hard

I become translucent white,
shortly I’m brittle and bland.
Crimson explodes with crystals sugar crystals, was trying to be obtuse
soft but hard and white and sweet; watermelon (crimson) is soft, melts in your mouth, but sugar crystals are hard and white
inside I harbor younglings
my dark progeny to be.
I arrive during long days
I depart inside your ways.

Pomegranate

I warned you... riddles aren't my thing. ;p

Clams is pretty close, I meant molluscs or in general shells and the creatures living inside them Smile

Tom Marvolo Riddle

You're the hero of your own story,
even if no one else agrees.
No one wants to be evil,
so why relish in the label?

Humans will never change
their limit exceeding habits.
They're the only ones who can surpass,
so why turn into something else?

God is a concept, omnipotence an ideal.
You're just a coward running
into the belly of fear,
digested by the clammy blackness.
