They were exponentially strong,
mirrored tall; beautiful.
Trading secrets
of many, these twin sisters
could broker a deal
that others would find quite surreal.
Looks count for everything
when you’re climbing
ladders, and nobody
was going to hit
on them, were they?
They grew wings,
their performance cut short
as fundamentalist peerless pressure
forced them to smoke,
and eventually led to their freefall.
Those girls consumed the souls
of many. Scars leave fears
and fears lose hope, that some day;
some age, possibly
we can all write
on the same blank page.
