On the second day of Christmas, the Pig Pen gave to me

and a lampstand nearly all lit!

Daniel Mendoza
from the island of Sentosa
was a Malayan Jew,
and Señora Annalise,
part Spanish, part Sinhalese
from the beaches of Bentota,

(now that might turn feminists,

anabaptist analysts,
an apoplectic blue).
Mendoza’s ventures
into banking’s bad excesses
were inordinate successes

resorted to doxxing,
prompting our Malayan,
to take up boxing.
Not caring for debentures
nor the fate of his dentures,
Daniel faced his lions -
the first, Irishman Ryan,
brute of the bogs,
dastard of Derry,
that the M. of Queensbury
devised rules for (the likes of).
Jacob Rees Mogg,
upper class crook
with a cockney accent
(when he takes his mikes off).
Then, a silverback male
with a bellyful of ale,
to end Mendoza’s tale
like Jonah’s, by the whale.

Jesus, bare-knuckled messiah,
unbeaten in 33 years of spiritual bouts
won the crown of thorns and crucifixion,

Little did the Romans know
