Buddy was black and white,
a small mutt with a huge heart.
He followed us everywhere
and would wiggle under the fence
to chase our car down the street.
He didn’t like the mailman, though
and that’s why our mom told us
he went to live on a farm.
The one that dogs never return from.

Work drags me down
Sometimes I want to die

Just call me a clown
For sticking around
It's cliche to cry

Work drags me down
But recently I found
They want me to buy

Just call me a clown
To own the whole pound
The responsibility would be mine

Work drags me down
Do I want to drown
Rarely seeing the sky

Just call me a clown
contract bound
High finance guy

Work drags me down
Just call me a clown

It's no big secret that most
soccer games are low scoring.
That's what makes what happened
during an official match
in Madagascar in 2002
all the more unreal,
when AS Adema beat SO l'Emyrne
by a score of 149-0:

all of them own goals.

Once upon a time I was best friends
with Madalyn Murray O’Hair’s son Garth.
Our friendship began in elementary school
and lasted until college.  Around about 7th grade
we used to pretend to be characters
from The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
We had make believe Mexican stand-offs
on a green painted wooden bridge across
Shoal Creek on our way home from school.
I played the Bad Lee Van Cleef.  Not sure
who Garth was imagining himself to be
nor do I remember who won the gunfights.
Those are secrets that Garth took with him
when he was murdered for some gold coins
along with his mother and sister in 1995.

Pass What?

Every password’s secret
and every one is known
at least by two
otherwise what good would come
of knowing any when
no lock exists
to fit the keys
one holds?

Secrets exist
to be shared.

Thank You Paul
All month long we had to wait
for another prompt to drop,
then try to keep our heads on straight,
to keep pressing on, try not to stop,
with little time to hesitate
outta the gate we kept on trying,
now we're done, and no denying,
gotta thank Tiger the Lion.
