I saw the movie schizopolis in a store once and hid it under the shelf so no one would buy it before I came back with money, I forgot to go back.

In only 3 lines you set up a really good story. The mystery which you convey in this poem is really well done.
Motive “FOR SALE” sign face-down ~ I like the squiggly line here- It creates a sense of tension. laid low by spring gale -Spring gale is very nice and vivid or crafty early bidder? You successfully mix humour and mystery in this last line. Does this 'early bidder' not want other people to find out about the thing for sale? If so, you effectively evoke greed as well in this poem [/quote]
