How was I supposed to know 8 years in advance you would be so fucking foolish to blow your light out! Gimme a break!
It is hard for me not to feel guilty because it was me, who quite stoned back then, shared this anecdote about that sad little girl with you, that ODed major league on 80, in words: eighty pills of Valium, just to make rock-solid sure, she would really sail into her nirvana.
Let me make it crystal clear – and I can't spare you from some sarcasm now – you, like her,
put all your hearts (of stone) into making it real: You kicked the bucket pretty awesomely.

In hindsight I think now, after all these years, you simply overdosed the Schopenhauer a bit. Definitely not such a good strategy as the facts seem to show. Ok, ok: de mortuis nil nisi bene. I'll stop now.
