It is not meet for us old duffers,
To whinge and moan in dodgy rhyme
That we so soon shall hit the buffers
Because......we haven't got the Time.
Re poem: I don't know what meter Leanne was talking about-- nothing jumped out and slapped me in the face.
My suggestion for last line would be simply Time winds down.
