All The New Folks

'Folks' isn't a real
poetry word, I guess.
Then again, I
am not a real poet.
And all my folks
live in my computer
on my desk
in my bedroom.

I take my folks to work
and hide them from my boss.
Sometimes in the bathroom
I put them in my pocket
or not.

I'm careful
not to flush my folks.

All of my folks are smart-
er than me. This does-
n't get me pissed.

Real people are an option
I only choose
for dear friends
and money.

Real people scream,
but folks only type
and you can turn those fuckers off.
