Ray: "Wait, come to think of it, by that sort of reasoning no one should
bother to fall in love anymore."
Dale: I don't!

Ray: I've heard that before. Usually doesn't last long. (But, uh, yes, that's
anecdotal evidence based on my own data which, statistically speaking,
is biased up the kazoo.)
Ray: "Gosh, if we let that stop us, none of us would write poems
about anything under the sun."
Dale: "...and though there are a billion trillion plastic bottles on the
planet, I guess a few more won't hurt!"
Ray: OMG! This needs to be (not really) opened up as a discussion
thread: "Calculating the carbon footprint of poetry."
But, as a guess, the time spent writing the damn things probably
emits lower quantities of greenhouse gases (except for Billy and Mark)
than most other endeavors, plastic bottles included.
Dale: "But just for you Ray, I'll post something for Violent times day!"

Ray: Great! Looking forward to it. And, really, since deviation is encouraged,
you should feel free to be as misanthropic as you desire.
all this useless beauty... but what the hell, why not?
