I did check 'miniscule' after my 'error' was pointed out and my little gummings said it was correct, but then it also said 'minuscule' was correct, too. Over to my huge International deluxe encyclopedic edition of Webster's Dictionary of the English Language and it said 'minuscule' was correct and told me about 'minuscule' and 'majuscule' and so I bowed to its superior knowledge.
Leanne - your insight into 'wrong' and 'wrongly' has been like gold-dust to me. I have always had to change sentences to avoid choosing between 'wrong/wrongly' - My instinct plumped for 'wrongly' (since I would never write/say - spelled incorrect.) but everyone else seemed happy with 'wrong'...hip, hip, hurray (I am made happy by such small things)
I must say I can't quite get the meaning of your nonsense sentence (yes, I know that sounds insane)
But, I reckon it should be 'Mudlinggle flemblancing is klinggacle' or 'Mudlinggle flemblancing makes you klinggacle'
what do you say?
bye, grannyjill
