Autumn winds

We are just into that season, though the weather is oddly sunny. The newspapers put me more in mind of going home late, at a large mainline station, when there are a few drunks about, a train to somewhere, near-ish where you live, and papers just floating and whirling about. Do they do that in the day as well, but no-one notices?
