I learned a new word to-day 'liquefacient' - I do remember an old poem with a similar word 'liquefaction' something like 'the liquefaction of her clothes'...damn, that's so annoying..wish I could remember what the damn poem is. Was it some-one called Julia? Help.

Thanks for the comments. This has indeed been an interesting move for me the past 20 years, after having been born and reared in Arizona. It's a shame SoCal has been falling into the proverbial toilet lately--more people moving out than moving in. I will soon become one of them and head back to live in the desert. I will learn to adapt...much as lizards adapt.
