... but everything in moderation is the key. These are great points, Todd, I'd agree with all of them and especially feel compelled to restate this:
praise is more dangerous than harsh criticism
That doesn't mean don't praise, it means don't praise vacuously or be a sycophant. "This is good" is pointless -- "this is good because" is constructive.
