getting the ears pierced for kids in the west is also becoming a bit of a tradition. we did it to our girls.
does the fact it's a tradition make it right, in some parts of the world genital cutting is traditional.
jews cut the foreskins of 13 year old boys. i'm glad i'm not jewish

It's my opinion that parental piercings are wrong ... any type of body modification should be solely the choice of the person.
As for genital cutting ... that's just nasty
Here in Canada it is no longer a standard practice and must now be paid for by the faimilies.
We had our son done (a reget I carry), but our grandson is in tact.
