I fully agree with Touchstone's sentiments. The Americans are rather gun crazy, and they do have a liking for shooting each other. But in resent years, that has been changing. Currently, the majority of shooting deaths in the U.S. are suicides.

basically the question is; should a supermarket be allowed to sell guns and ammo.
in a country that allows it's citizens firearms, i can't see a problem, apart from the scenario Ts mentioned occurring. personally i'm against weapons on the high street but thats another discussion. i think before they or anyone else is allowed to sell guns from walmart or any other mart, precautions should be put in place to stop those who are deemed unsuitable to carry firearms of getting them. (at least make it a little bit harder) at the end of the day it has to be yes, or renounce the gun laws.
