i think the usa were wrong to stall on the moonbase project, hopefully the japanese or russians will do the deed and make a base there. i think it will have to be a case of them coming here as opposed to us going there.

Its obviously far more intelligent then we are. They are not going to bother with us until we manage to stop killing ourselves and take a few steps into the ocean pf space.

Because of the sheer size of the universe, in all probability there is intelligent life out there. Don't think we'll make contact in just a couple hundred years, though, but who are any of us to really say?

Who knows, maybe it's us who'll be making contact with new civilizations in other planets, and not the other way around. That'll take a while, though.

As for us making contact? The universe has had a 10 billion year head start to brew up other life forms elsewhere before our star was ever born.
