Indoor plants are much shorter. Different genetics.
the indoor pic looks spot on though, that's a nice sized crop

right as it's been picked. just as it's drying out.
As for cropping it I found if you pull it sideways when it is young then clip those branches that stalk up yo get multiple tops instead of just one or two. A few times the main stalk of the plants grew into a "S" shape and it looked literaly like a hedge about 25' long and 10' thick and maybe 20' hi.
The leaf and stems of the plant was fair mulch fertilzer but not the best.
farm fertilizer (like Royally Mounted Canadian Police Poo) was the best and cheapest at the time.
I always got paranoid near harvest because the smell was intense in a huge radius and I was waiting for a police dog to go by and throw a fit but instead some of the local twiticas took it upon themselves to investigate and I can tell you that those electric horse fence wires work very well on non-horses.
