first off i have to say.; for me it needs just a little work on the enjambment

2nd i have to say, this is one of the best poems i've read in a long while. like most it has a few things that wouldn't go amiss with a small edit (which i won't say here as it's the mild crit forum ) but it's rich and has some fantastic imagery. i really would be proud to put my name on this one. so, so many good lines. if i pointed them out most of the poem would be covered.
all i can say is i really enjoyed the read, it has a different sadness than the usual sad poem it's like a happy sad poem which is weirdly good.

Thank you so much, Billy! I was going to post on 'Serious Crit' but I thought "Don't get cocky for your first post in a while." and on the subject of animals people aren't always great with them. I'm glad however you enjoyed it and hope my work comes up to scratch in the future! LA
