You may very well be blessed to have such freedom. But there is a multitude of people who hold to it's words with endearment ... with some willing to die and even kill for it. Is that crazy? absolutely! That's just how precious the bible is to many. It's a Holy book containing the word of God, an embodiment of the qualities of God; love, peace and hope, deservering respect and protection (as believers see it). I don't think of myself as overly religious but I too would feel a prick in the heart if I were to witness a bible burning, there's just something not right about it (imo).
I agree with vf, we need more tolerance. We don't need more ... well you did that so we're going to do this na na na na.
This preacher and his followers are not only a disgrace to the Christian population but to the human population in general. This type of provocation is not acceptable in this day and time.
You give to the world when you're giving your best to somebody else.
