I think it's a matter of personal choice, gays included. I don't see either as right or wrong, bad or good. There's pros and cons to both types of relationships.
As for women being allowed more than one husband? ... of course ... what's good for the gander should be good for the goose also.
Myself, I prefer a monogamous relationship, primarily because I'm selfish and require/enjoy single intimate attention. I'm also very traditional in my ideas of family life. I've been with my husband for nearly 30 years and have never had a desire to wander as with my partner and I feel great security in our togetherness.
