I'm against banning aspects of a peoples religion (if it causes no harm to others). It's every human's right to practice their faith no matter how absurb it may seem to others.
If this is what the muslim women want then the burka should be banned ... the law could very well be a blessing in disguise for these women. I can't imagine anyone really wanting to wear that thing but then I'm not muslim.
They should ask the women what they want.
