the gist of it is this i think moobs.
they're using cyber terrorism as an excuse to create a cut off switch or patch that can enable the usa president to give a go ahead, to disconnect america from the rest of the world during such a strike. in order to save the banking, gov records. strategic planning etc.the cyber attacks during war makes sense and i can see it happening but cutting itself off from the rest of the net won't work because it can and would be attacked from within it's own country. (enemy within)
if ever they do disconnect from the net then the cyber terrorists will already have won lmao
i think they realize that the net has taken over every aspect of our lives and if hit by a cyber attack could fuck the usa and any other country up better than any bombs ever could.
at one time we had a paper trail for every banking transaction, crime, school report, sports event. now it's all store in chips on computers and servers that can be made obsolete with a single cyber attack.
good isn't it. and these pricks think that by isolating their net to their own country they'll be safe. for some asinine reason they think the attack will come from a state outside their border.
