Thanks for the feedback. Altered the repeated line to make the narrative a little more clear. As for the title and the narrative's source:

Calderon here refers to Calderón de la Barca, so this is just a riff on his much better dramatic poem La vida es sueño, in English Life Is a Dream. Finally added the diacritic to hopefully clarify.

Did a lil research and read a bit of a monologue by Sigismundo. I think it would be interesting to see a version of your piece from the 1st person POV of one of the characters. The narration does still feel a tad bit cold.
