I don't even know if I would classify this one as a troll. I don't think he originally came to cause problems. I think he was serious about his poetry, and I think some of the problem might have been a language barrier complicating the communication. However and also, he was clearly nuts. Language barrier or not, the torrents of scripture and other obscure quotes combined with accusations that we are all evil and that our dislike of his poetry is equivalent, apparently, to siding with the evil Queen Jezebel, was not something that could have been cured with gentle guidance or patience. Maybe he considered himself to be a prophet of some kind? (He mentioned the "Word of Poetry" often and I wondered if that was meant to refer to himself?) Either way, I don't take kindly to being repeatedly called a dog.
As to zingers, I did feel obliged to read (skim) most of his rantings (as part of the compilation of evidence for his trial and punishment) and found a few quotes that I thought were funny. Maybe they are only funny to me. Maybe you have to read them with just the right mental voice. They're in the box below:
