Complex Feeling

I felt I could dance through the night,
The day we met beneath the sky.
We swore we’d never have a fight,
And lay in bed while time slipped by.
 
A lot happens in this first stanza, you meet, you dance, share a promise, and lay in bed, on its own it's short and sweet but Im curious how much room is left 
 
The days flew by, and years ran fast,
First the love, then the doubt.
This time was bright, but also vast,
And then we began to softly shove.
 

Days, years, first, then, time, vast, its like a general observation of change that doesnt really tell me anything, I wish you could stretch out the events of the first stanza with more clear descriptions of that change.  Shove sounds awkward, but ill see whats left 
 
Words cut sharp, and fights came true,
I hurt you hard, I was not true.
Time dragged slow, and tempers flared,
Yet hearts remained through all despair.
 
Third stanza tells me a little more clearly what I imagined from stanza 2, but still too vague.  We got together, we tore apart, how did time slow, what made tempers flare, put me in the scene to feel the despair
 
In the deep trough of silence, we wander alone,
Our hearts drift slowly through the quiet pain.
No words remain to hold us; the love is now gone,
And time moves forward while we drift far, alone.
 
I cant quite tell if you're unhappy together or unhappy apart.  
 
This is my first attempt - I tried to apply classic methods of poetry in a non native language and still convey a feeling 

I think I know what you're feeling, but I wasn't made to feel it.  I believe more details in concrete examples would bring the feelings out more.  I also dont know any other language well enough to attempt this sort of thing so, good job!
