To Play a Fool
one must know a fool,
or a tool, really
there’s not much difference.
walk a mile in their shoe
(or two) to truly think
like an authentic fool.
get some powder
(remember the rules):
white to mask
that alabaster tone,
black to accent
those onyx eyes.
so when that mirror
finally shows a fool,
rejoice! for it
is no longer you—
it is just a fool.
