Would that we too were wise
like him! But no, some famous school
lent us their brand and helped us rise
to prominence. Winning the prize,
we persisted to pull the wool
over our own befuddled eyes.
When the blood is cold and pooled
at the lowest point, and another dies
content in the knowledge
that a fool wouldn’t go to college,
Apollo weeps, Athena cries.
Trump himself disproves the rule -
he went to college, stayed a fool.
