It was fun, the Club
back before
“alcohol deglamorization.”
Sunday mornings
very slow after
“champagne brunch”
after which
in the nearly empty main bar
there was free pinball
and dollar Bloody Marys
or was it dollar-an-hour pinball
and free Bloody Marys?
Can’t quite remember
but
good times.
