sucked up all the
white and gold
junk and charge stacked
speed on a slow hydraulic
cylinder gimmick in
the brass and copper streets.

American Express and
some ugly noxious
poison their eyes flared with
the riddle of exploding stars
in the centre of
that soulless place
point of intersection.

Vending booths and 
smouldering slag
a devious underground
of transparent pink
sex parlors 
pounding metal hammers
yacking like supersonic dummies.

I must go.
Now.

"the virus word and image replaces the host"
I couldn't help but think of the phrase "going viral"; of how an exponentially
growing thought replaces our own consciousness, of how all us carbon-based
robots out here end up living in someone else's virtual-land.
I also like the idea of viral attacks creating useful religious concepts. Not unlike
terrorist attacks creating a useful way for politicians to get votes... talk about
sucking the flavor out of everything in sight.
