Holiday Decorations

Go as slow as you like,
                
                     we can’t fake the sunrise—
so, with the least possible effort
 
               I’ll be human,
for a while.

The pulse that coats my insides
                          coats my  
                outside, too.
My stomach shares my mouth
       with my fingernail

All the codes break in your eyes
until my heart turns into butterflies.
