for the Roman soldiers
picked that day,
probably not your cream of the crop legionnaires
on duty.
They killed by example
like so many still do.
My chore is less bloody,
to clean a cat box,
and I choose Taking Tiger Mountain
to accompany me
instead of legionaries.
