In Hell
Marx, Engels, Lenin and Trotsky
will have to play Monopoly
for an eternity. Stalin will play Banker.
Why is it so easy to think of a Hell?
When I was a jute
I loved Risk, graduated to Stalingrad,
played the funeral march from Berlioz’ Symphonie Fantastique
when the game reached the winter of 1943,
when the mice were eating the wiring of the tanks,
and fires had to be built under machine guns
to thaw them for action.
I am in my own movie.
Don’t tell anyone and besides,
who would believe it?
