But you're missing my point. There's so much hype about air travel that it's probably not even worth the effort when let's say the navy (ferries etc.) is much less guarded (if at all).

they could do the surgery in iraq or anywhere relatively cheaply at the point of a gun. they're guarded. or patrolled etc. (in the uk)
my point is; it only take a small hole in the side of a pressurized plane which already wants to explode, to kill 3 or 400 people. and whoever it lands on.

to do the same think on a ship from the inside when the pressure of the water would help the double hull most ferries have, contain the blast, would kill only a few at best.

breast implant surgery can be done under a local anesthetic in a matter of an hour and a few slits into the breast wall. a week or two at most for the stictches to heal but flight worthy after a day or two.
