The Decade of Boy and Tiger
Young Calvin, member of that wild elect:
a living human being. To project
his feral nature, philosophic Hobbes–
less cynical but prone to knockdown jobs
since as a creature of imagination
he pounces without Calvin’s instigation.
They romped like Greeks and Trojans for ten years
then ended without ending, it appears...
for, Priam and Achilles, they did not
expire; their artist tired of his lot.
