The joke was supposed to be me as a hairy Marylin Monroe in a kilt but I didn't pull it off (not enough to get a look under).  Started as a bit longer piece as part of a text message to my brother-in-law about whether I am available this sunday to play D&D with my nephews online.  Turns out I will be in Scotland so I responded

I will be dining on haggis
a pleasurable breeze blowing
me a hairy Marylin Monroe

it went downhill from there.  Now you know the rest of the story.

Short poems are tough. Every word goes under the microscope. (as it should)  I'm sure your brother-in-law would get it. But, there's only so much room for detail, and one tiny detail the reader is not privy to can collapse the web. Even the masters only get it right half the time. I'm happy to nail one 10% of the time. 
P.S. When I googled hairy monroe I got an image of an upper-lip piercing on a hairy face. You can thank google in part for the derailment of your image.
