Charms
Of those many customs
which turn Jewish law
into, not quite, its opposite
but charmingly
my favorite is Passover sale to Gentiles
so that certain items (chametz)
not be owned by their seller
at forbidden times.
These transactions
temporary and reversible
may now be conducted online
under proper auspices.
If only we post-Christians
could pawn our sins and viruses that way
and just
you know
lose the ticket
or forget
to redeem them...
