Sudden sunrise of electricity
synthesized by the Earth’s eccentricity
where volts crowd the streets
seeking the sacred lubricity
wandering the circuitous subWatts,
hands in pockets, pockets on fire.
Simplicity of amperes stranded on a beach,
outside the complicit city,
chromatic clowns with sockets
instead of hands dance the kilowatt,
their metered faces ecstatic
all spinning in the same direction
dervishes of conductive complicity
saluting an ocean of felicity.

electrons swarm like flies about
their long ago God and drag light
