Excuse me, madam,
lying on the macadam-
ised road, quite pasted,
by trolls and tigers tasted,
victim of an unfortunate accident
or murder most foul -
is it your spirit wandering
draped in a cowl
through black thickets blundering?

I have no fear
of ghost or ghoul -
though even the Vikings
deterred by no pikings
nor sudden lightning strikings
nor great white bears
beyond Ultimathule
feared the white walkers
the silent death stalkers -

I fear nothing but
the blue black salamander
of TAS (Scamander) -*
'tis an invasive species
like goats and dogs and lichees
when all we have room for
is the grey kangaroo.
