When you look at your own life/work and consciously make it art, YOU HAVE TO make it really WORK, ala Andy Kaufman, or your bio is not art but contrived bio.
I, when I was a teenager, used to imagine trailers to movies about me. I always ended in a madhouse at the end of the actual movie. It was very Romantic. I bet the trailer would be a great movie in itself, regardless of my life, if I could make my mind of it project on screen.
