simple syrup        vodka                Triple Sec
sugar rim            simple syrup       vodka
lemon juice         sugar rim            simple syrup
                         lemon juice         sugar rim
                                                  lemon juice
 
She would order them in threes;
drink one at the bar
and bring one for me.

Then she'd kiss me with sugar lips
and clink her glass with mine--

and on this particular dance floor

it meant we were even.
