Hey rowens-

There was also the occasional stray dog, and the ever present cat-sized rats.  I'm old enough to be clear eyed and more than a bit crusty, which is probably why these fleeting scenes of sublime beauty strike me so intensely. 

While I try to resist my baser instincts I must confess to being just another dog, at heart, which is why I wrote this song (1st stanza), and I dedicate it to you:

I'm a dog for you baby
a big dog for you
I'm dog for you bably
a bad dog for you

I'm on a short leash
but I know how to stretch it
you say "ball"
and I love to fetch it
I wanna dig a hole
ya make it so hard
wanna bury my bone
in yer backyard

Yowwwl... woof woof woof !!!
