@quixilated - It was a fun exercise. Mentioning that my choice was from photo captions was not a brag but an excuse for the peculiar group of words (even "usher" was the name of the photographer).
Oddly, both @Xlateralus' and mine were taken from railroad publications ("Lines West" is a partly pictorial history of the [U.S.] Great Northern Railway).
