Premontion Pot-Hole

A night of stress,
worst shift yet.
Delivering morning goodies,
day-old,
wearing the clothes
from yesterday.

Withered engine,
how rent is paid.
Driving on
forgotten roads,
morning daze, 
blurry gaze.

Route starts,
minutes in tragedy stirs. 
Classic, giant pot-hole.
The tire as if a mole,
buries itself,
and becomes bent and flat.

With a loud pop
there goes stability,
job, and daily security.

The boy, awakes
stressed takes,
he prefers to not
wake in this state.

Time for it another
doughnut run.
On his was to the kitchen.
he see's a pot-hole,

Last second serve
avoiding it mid-curve,
he takes a breathe.
Another hazard,
puts his patience to test.

He adds to the growing list
of forgotten roads,
that plagues an early morning drivers existence.
